The piste is right next to the car park. This is common practice in Scotland in ski resorts to leave the dog in the car whilst skiing and people just return to their cars frequently to let them out.
A friend of mine told me that you don't need a lift pass to use 2 or 3 of the beginner lifts, I think rope tow and carpet thing. Can anyone confirm this as a pass might be a waste of time for us as we are complete beginners. Thanks in advance

I went as a beginner and I had to have a beginners pass for the carpet, the rope tow wasn’t even open. I believe all have to pay no matter what level. I hope this helps
Hi, Husband and I are coming here for 3 days in February. I have no interest in boarding so he will be doing that alone and I intend on doing some walks with our Pointer dog. Just wondering if there are areas on site where i could walk with the dog/would he be welcome in the cafe? We will be venturing further out on other days but for the first day (and before we have checked into our hotel in Grantown-on-Spey) I would like to stay local to Lecht. Thanks in advance. Francesca

There are plenty areas for walk. Please check with the hotel for best tips. Lecht2090 welcomes dogs. And it is a nice cafe to look down to the nearest slopes. Hope this helps. ch
