City officials said the advisory for residents on and near Golfview Avenue is precautionary after a water main break caused temporary pressure loss in the area.

Marietta Water has issued a boil water advisory after a water main break on Lawrence Street near Covington Avenue caused portions of the water system to lose pressure on Friday night. Marietta officials said on Sunday that additional water main breaks also happened at Lakewood Drive and Parkview Drive but did not require a boil water advisory or pose a concern about water safety in the area.

FORT GAY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A boil water advisory was issued Friday night for all town of Fort Gay customers, town officials posted on social media. On Thursday, a similar advisory was issued for all Fort Gay customers outside of town due to a leak.
