It wasn't pretty for most of the game, but quarterback Kirk Cousins stepped up when it mattered most during the Atlanta Falcons' 22–21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Cousins shook off a rough debut in Week 1 and an ugly first half of football in Philadelphia to lead a game-winning touchdown drive in the final minute at Lincoln Financial Field.

Cousins has picked up 23.7 fantasy points in his two games this season. He has completed 36 of 55 passes for 396 yards, throwing for three touchdowns with two interceptions, and has run for -1 yards on five carries.

Former Falcons QB Michael Vick believes that Kirk Cousins could have been in danger of being benched if Atlanta did not win in Week 2.
