A frantic search continued on Saturday for about two dozen people still missing from a century-old Christian girls' camp in central Texas after flash floods in the area killed at least 24 at the start of the U.

Authorities said at least 24 people have died in flooding around Kerr County, Texas, and officials are still performing water rescues.

Child and adult campers and a camp director were among at least 51 people who have died in the flooding in Central Texas.

Homes and infrastructure were washed away after heavy rain brought flash flooding to Kerr County, Texas on July 4.
