King Charles has been left “deeply saddened” after the stepson of Tiggy Legge Bourke, Prince William and Prince Harry’s beloved childhood nanny, was named as one of the 14 people killed in the New Orleans terror attack.

King Charles is deeply saddened after a British man died in a vehicle attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, according to Buckingham Palace sources.

The Telegraph reported that Edward Pettifer was the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry's former nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke, also known as Alexandra Pettifer. Edward was the eldest son of Charles Pettifer, a former Coldstream Guards officer, and Camilla Wyatt, the daughter of a racehorse breeder, according to the newspaper.
