Timelapse footage captured the moment Kilauea volcano in Hawaii began erupting for the seventh time in just a few weeks. The eruption created glowing patterns as lava spread over the mountainside. Officials said the lava posed no threat posed to homes or infrastructures.

Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupts for 7th time; Lava fountains soar high
The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reported that fountains on the north side of the crater are now reaching heights of 100 to 120 feet (30 to 40 metres) and feeding multiple streams of lava. Additionally, a smaller fountain is visible on the south side, accompanied by a small emerging lava flow.
