Multiple days of rain last week, followed by constant heavy rain on February 15, resulted in severe flooding and at least 8 deaths in Kentucky.

Floodwaters rose amid heavy rain in Kentucky. Footage captured by Jordan Smith shows rising waters surging again after another round of heavy rainfall in Gray on February 15. Jordan reported that the water had overflowed onto his walkway.

The heavy rain continues to fall across Kentucky and many areas are seeing the impacts. Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said they have crews working to put barriers around flooded roadways but not every road has one yet.
