Monster Hunter Wilds is not yet Steam Deck verified. This doesn't mean the game can't be played on the Steam Deck. The "verified" designation is for games that have controller support, support the default resolution of the Steam Deck, no compatibility issues and support the Steam Deck's Proton system.

Capcom's latest monster hunting adventure was playable on Valve's handheld during beta phases, but its performance left a lot to be desired.

Capcom recommended to make sure that your PC meets the minimum PC requirements for Monster Hunter Wilds and that your graphics drivers are updated. Additionally, update DirectX to the latest version and make sure that the game is added to your anti-virus program's exceptions list.
