Former UVA basketball stars Ty Jerome and De'Andre Hunter finished third and fourth, respectively, in the voting for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award.

Pritchard is the fourth different Celtics player to win the Sixth Man of the Year award. He joins a group that includes two-time winner Kevin McHale, Bill Walton and Malcolm Brogdon. With five total Sixth Man of the Year wins, the Celtics have tied the Los Angeles Clippers for the most by a single team.
