The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has inducted many who don't identify as rock musicians - but that doesn't mean the organization and museum is going to change its name any time soon. The organization honored Liam Payne at its October induction ceremony in 2023,

Chairman John Sykes opened up to Vulture about the organization's name after comments from Dolly Parton, Jay-Z and more about not feeling aligned with its genre distinction.
