Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have opened up about their plans to scrap a huge wedding tradition for a very relatable reason on the Table Manners podcast.

“Single Soon,” Gomez’s first and only release of 2023, arrived in August, and was co-produced by Blanco and Cashmere Cat. Gomez would later reveal in December that she’d been dating Blanco for about six months, meaning they were likely already dating when the song dropped.

Selena Gomez missed out on having her own prom experience, so her fiancé, Benny Blanco, planned their own prom photo shoot at the couple's local mall. Blanco documented their experience in an April 24 post on Instagram, starting with sharing that Gomez had never been to prom and that he asked her if they should take prom photos together.
