The West Boylston Select Board voted to terminate the new town administrator’s contract Monday, after he reportedly demanded the removal of a Trump flag hanging in the police station gym.

With 120 viewers watching the meeting via Zoom, Selectman Barur R. Rajeshkumar made the motion to terminate Ryan’s employment as town administrator, which was seconded by Selectman James Morrissey. Vanessa Kuzmanovski was the sole selectman who voted against terminating Ryan's contract.

The West Boylston Select Board voted to terminate James Ryan, the new town administrator, in a closed-door session Monday evening, Ryan's lawyer said.
