Howard has gushed about his opportunity to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers since the team selected him in the sixth round. Ahead of the team's rookie minicamp on Wednesday, Howard again stressed how much he is looking forward to joining the Steelers.

Will Howard, the quarterback out of Ohio State, was the pick for the Steelers. He is fresh off of leading the Buckeyes to a national championship win last year, and his draft stock took a huge rise from where it had been at the start of the 2024 college football season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers liked Will Howard enough to take him in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. And some think he could be a sleeper pick for them. NFL.com’s Gennaro Filice believes Howard is the team’s best sleeper pick on day three.
