Lenovo’s new ThinkBook 3D Laptop Concept and Hybrid Dimensional 34-inch Curved Monitor Concept, announced at Mobile World Congress 2025, use directional backlighting and head tracking to simultaneously show 2D and 3D content without glasses. An accompanying AI Ring concept can be worn to control them with gesture-based spatial controls.

Mobile World Congress 2025 was a show about smartphones, and exciting ones too, which made it very different to the last few years. Here's more on the trend.

The Spark Slim is one of the most impressive devices at the show. Not only does it have an incredibly sleek design, but the phone measures just 5.75mm in thickness. What's amazing about this is that TECNO managed to squeeze a fairly large 5,200mAh battery into the phone, which is larger than the battery powering the rather massive Galaxy S25 Ultra.

From concepts to real-world devices, slimmer phones are having a moment. Whether they have lasting power is another question, but we are here to find out at MWC 2025.
