A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death by three juveniles in Delhi's Shakarpur area after he refused to treat them for buying a new phone, police have said.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death by three friends of the same age during an argument over his refusal to throw a party after purchasing a new mobile phone, an official reported on Tuesday. The three accused juveniles were apprehended by the police.

The locals told the police that the crime took place in full public view and the boy was shifted to a hospital where he was succumbed to his injuries.

The police, who were on patrol in the area, noticed blood stains near the Ramji Samosa shop in Shakarpur around 7.15 pm on Monday.
