Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull has lashed out at the Albanese government over Australia’s “dependence” on the United States.

The "miserable ghost” Malcolm Turnbull has reappeared on the taxpayer funded national broadcaster to haunt the Liberals once more, labelling its new leader Angus Taylor the most "qualified idiot".

Malcolm Turnbull has weighed in on the Liberal leadership, saying the party has abandoned the centre for an ideological “la la land”.

While he has extensive experience, Angus Taylor is saddled with being a poor communicator and, like fellow Rhodes scholar Malcolm Turnbull, poor at politics.
