It’s been eight months since Sony made PSN accounts mandatory for PlayStation games on PC, but players still aren’t over the change. Whenever Sony announces a Steam port for a PlayStation game, players express shock and bewilderment that all the hue and cry simply hasn’t worked.

Sony has made it apparent that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PC release in April will require an active PSN account to play on Steam.

Here we go again. The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered, a single-player video game with no multiplayer modes or features, will for some reason require players to login into a PlayStation Network account on Steam when it arrives in April.

It’s unclear why you’d need a PlayStation Network account to play a single-player game on your PC.

Ubisoft, a French video game maker, revealed that it had appointed advisors to pursue transformational capitalistic and strategic options. The company had previously revealed that its founding family was considering a potential buyout.
