According to leaks, the Generation 10 Pokemon games may be released for both the original Switch and Switch 2. The Switch 2 will be backward compatible, so it will be able to play Switch 1 Pokemon games regardless. Details on future Pokemon games are expected to come on February 27 during the Pokemon Presents event.

Z-A leak is making the rounds for revealing unexpected starters. The expectation — based on rumors and speculation — is that the starters of the new Nintendo Switch Pokemon game are going to be the same starters of Pokemon X and Y.

Pokemon Legends Z-A is apparently not going to receive a Switch 2 port, if recent rumors are to be believed, but this may not be a big deal.

An upcoming Pokémon showcase will apparently only feature games made for the original Nintendo Switch, including Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
