With Google confirming a June timeline for its Android 16 release, there’s barely a quarter for Samsung to update its entire line-up (bar the Galaxy S25) with the current Android 15 OS. It has become something of a nightmare that flagships are still running Android 14 almost 6-months after Pixels upgraded.

Samsung has pulled the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24 Plus models from its webstore and the Galaxy S24 could follow suit.

So far, only the Galaxy S24 series has received beta versions of the long-awaited Android 15-based firmware. So, we can assume that these phones will be the first to get the OTA. Meanwhile, Samsung is sending out the latest March 2025 security update to the Galaxy S24 lineup.
