In a surprise, the superintendent said she would resign if trustees moved forward with the plan Thursday night.

During that special meeting the Keller ISD board of trustees did not take action on a proposal that would create a new school district by splitting the existing one.

Tensions were high last night at the Keller ISD meeting to discuss splitting the district in two. Keller ISD's superintendent spoke up, saying she did not agree with the proposal and is willing to resign.
