Pakistan’s railways has suspended all train services to and from a restive southwestern province where a suicide bombing at a train station over the weekend killed 26 people, including soldiers and railway staff.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi led a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to discuss the province’s law and order situation following the recent blast incident at Quetta railway station.

Several countries, including the USA and the UK, condemned Saturday's suicide blast at a railway station in Pakistan's Quetta region which left at least 26 people dead.

Pakistan Railways has suspended train services to Quetta station after a deadly explosion killed 26 and injured 62. The closure lasts from November 11 to 14 for passenger safety. The Bolan Mail and Jaffar Express will resume services later in November.
