Frozen meals, snacks, cat food, and cheesecake are just a few items listed in March on the Federal Food and Drug Administration website.
Both the recalled Sausage, Egg & Cheese and Bacon, Egg & Cheese French Toast Breakfast Sandwiches have lot numbers that begin with “23,” “24,” and “25” up to 2508451. The establishment number in the USDA inspection mark is “EST. V4907.” They were made from April 1, 2023, to March 25 of this year and have a 12-month freezer life.
The recalled meals were potentially contaminated with a “wood-like material,” per the recall, which was made known after a consumer contacted Nestlé USA and informed them of a near-choking incident. There have been no other injuries or illnesses related to the recall to date.
