United Airlines executives said on Thursday the company has seen strong bookings in the past three weeks, with the carrier gaining pricing power for the first time since February.

United Airlines is permanently axing U.S. domestic bus routes between airports in the coming weeks. The airline will be ending two routes later this summer and in the fall—its Denver to Fort Collins, Colorado, (DEN-FNL) and Newark, New Jersey, to Allentown, Pennsylvania, (EWR-ABE) Landline services.

The carrier says conditions are less uncertain than they were earlier this year, reason enough to refine its outlook.
