Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday released a video showing additional questioning of a North Korean soldier recently captured by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said forces operating in the Kursk region of Russia have captured two North Korean soldiers.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the wounded North Korean soldiers were taken to Kyiv and are communicating with Ukrainian officials.

Ukraine's president adds that "for those North Korean soldiers who do not wish to return, there may be other options".

After Ukraine reported capturing two North Korean soldiers fighting with Russian troops, President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed a prisoner exchange. The Kremlin has refused to comment. Clare Sebastian reports.

Zelensky’s announcement came after he posted photos on social media of two men he said were North Korean soldiers captured in Russia’s Kursk region.

Zelenskiy said that for North Korean soldiers who did not wish to return home, there may be other options available.
