The NWS has warned of possible snow squalls as Arctic air spreads south and east from the Rockies Friday through next week.

Some areas of the U.S. may see temperatures as low as -20 or -30 degrees early next week as arctic air from Siberia rolls in.

A blast of snow, ice, wind and plunging temperatures stirred up dangerous travel conditions in parts of the central U.S. on Sunday.
