For the past two nights, Ringo Starr celebrated his new country album Look Up with guest-heavy performances at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium, which were filmed for a TV special and became benefits for LA wildfire recovery.

During one of his two nights performing at the Ryman, Ringo Starr was surprised by Emmylou Harris who invited the former Beatles drummer to make his Grand Ole Opry.

Ringo Starr discussed his “emotional” connection to country music, revealed some favorite country artists at a Nashville press event to promote his new album, 'Look Up,' and his shows at the Ryman.

Ringo will also be going on tour with his All Starr Band in June, including an NYC show at Radio City Music Hall on June 13. See all dates below. Jack White also joined another Beatle, Paul McCartney, onstage during his Corona Capital set in November.
