North Korea said on Sunday (July 13, 2025) it stands ready to take military action to counter any security threat against it in a warning against the United States, South Korea and Japan following a recent aerial drill by the allies with a U.S. strategic bomber.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea, the United States and Japan pledged to continue working together toward the complete denuclearization of North Korea, amid discussions about a possible shift in the role of U.

Thus far, however, he has said comparatively little about the growing strength of the Kim regime in North Korea, leading some analysts to suggest the administration is neglecting one of the most critical security issues in Asia.

SEOUL (Reuters) -North Korea slammed on Friday the Quad grouping of the United States, India, Japan and Australia for insisting North Korea denuclearise, according to its state media KCNA.
