The strains of "New York, New York" won't be heard over the loudspeakers this season after a Yankees loss as club moves to rotation of other tunes.

The Yankees will play Frank Sinatra’s version of the “Theme From New York, New York” only after home wins instead of all games in the Bronx, going back to the original custom set by owner George Stein

After Sunday’s 4-0 spring training loss to Detroit at George M. Steinbrenner Field, the Yankees played Sinatra’s 1966 recording of “That’s Life,” a 1963 song by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon.

Right-hander Casey Mize will start for the Tigers. He’s scheduled to be followed by lefty Dietrich Enns and right-handers Jordan Balazovic and Tyler Owens. Minor leaguers Tanner Kohlhepp, Austin Bergner, Garrett Burhenn, Garrett Apker and Carlos Pena will also be on hand to pitch if needed.
