The office uses an emergency alert system called Hyper-Reach to notify community members about floods, fires, severe weather, public health alerts, criminal activity and other emergencies.

The Clovis-area's emergency alert system is changing. "Nixle is no more. All notifications will go out through HyperReach," said Clovis/Curry County Emergency Management Director Ruthann Kelly.
