Thousands of people marched in downtown Los Angeles Sunday in protest of President Trump's planned mass deportations blocking several streets and causing "major gridlock", according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Protesters gathered in downtown Los Angeles on 2 February in response to a recent increase in ICE raids and deportations under President Trump's immigration crackdown. Thousands of people carrying Mexican flags and placards marched to Los Angeles City Hall before walking onto and blocking the 101 Freeway.
