Asus has one model available at list price, the Prime RTX 5080, at $1,000, but it’s currently on sale despite being out of stock. The official price is $1,265. For the RTX 5090, Asus is offering it at $2,750, with its flagship liquid-cooled ROG Astral model clocking in at $3,410.

Well lather me up and call me a belated Christmas turkey, there might—might—be some hope left for reasonably priced gaming PC in this RTX 50-series generation. Assuming, that is, some of the first prices for RTX 50-series laptops are anything to go by.

MSI and ASUS have now jacked up prices of the GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs in their US stores. Scalpers may be the scum of the earth due to their intentional price gouging habits, but companies like MSI and ASUS aren’t doing anything to help the situation with regard to the already impossible-to-obtain graphics card.
