Marietta Water has issued a boil water advisory after a water main break on Lawrence Street near Covington Avenue caused portions of the water system to lose pressure on Friday night. The advisory applies to areas impacted by low water pressure or outages.

Officials say the advisory is in effect until Marietta Water has completed the appropriate testing to be confident that there is no longer a public health concern.
