A Brazilian Supreme Court justice seized about $3 million in frozen funds of social media platform X and satellite-based internet service provider Starlink, both companies controlled by billionaire Elon Musk.

Brazil collects its fine from Starlink and X and unfreezes the companies' assets it had seized, including bank accounts and real estate.

Brazil's Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes decided to lift freezes previously imposed on Starlink and X bank accounts after ordering the transfer of 18.35 million reais ($3.3 million) from the accounts to the national coffers.

Brazil’s Supreme Federal Court unfroze the assets of Elon Musk’s satellite communications company Starlink and social platform X after 18.35 million reais, about $3.3 million, was transferred to the government’s coffers.

Approximately 7.28 million reais, which equals $1.3 million, were transferred from X, while 11.07 million reais, the equivalent of $1.99 million, were transferred from Starlink.

In an ongoing dispute between tech mogul Elon Musk and a Brazilian judge, authorities withdrew money from their company accounts to pay fines.
