The group of ex-Denver players cut this week is headlined by three quarterbacks: Trevor Siemian, Brett Rypien and Ben DiNucci. Siemian, 33, was picked by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL draft out of Northwestern. He went on to post a 13-11 win-loss record in Denver before becoming a backup journeyman.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell may have made a decision with his backup-quarterback spot, and it isn't the player most fans would have predicted before training camp began.

The Minnesota Vikings completed a shuffle of their backup quarterbacks on Sunday, having completed their evaluations of Brett Rypien, Sam Howell, and Max Brosmer after the last preseason game concluded on Friday night.
