Within days of the devastating Los Angeles-area fires breaking out, a benefit concert was in the works. It’s already raised millions for relief efforts.

This week, on January 30th, some of music's biggest stars are coming together to help raise funds for relief in the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires during FireAid. Taking place in two locations — the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum — the FireAid Benefit concert aims to help rebuild the communities that have been affected by the wildfires.

Apologetic owners say they were approached late last year by a musician seeking to book a date for what was described only as "a black metal concert."

A Detroit venue put a concert to an early end when it became aware of alleged Nazi leanings of some of the participating bands.

Owners of the venue say they understand the “hate and outrage” they received and are taking “full responsibility.”
