A new Gavin and Stacey clip has given fans their first ever glimpse of Uncle Bryn and Jason on the long-discussed fishing trip. "I think it's blown a few people's minds," said Robert Wilfort, who plays Jason. "It's a lovely little Easter egg and a really fun way to finish the whole adventure."

Gavin & Stacey has teased fans about that infamous fishing trip for one last time, showing viewers some actual footage of the incident.

Gwen confirmed in the final episode that it took place 30 years ago. The Gavin and Stacey book merch too said that it took place on a Saturday in August of that year, too – so it checks out.
