Former Notre Dame head coach, Lou Holtz, is at it again. The former Fighting Irish head coach loves to keep his name in the headlines any way he can, and now he’s using a beef with Ohio State’s Ryan Day to do just that.

Holtz, of course, was the Notre Dame head coach when they last won a national title, back in 1988. After that, the Fighting Irish came close a couple more times under Holtz, finishing second in the nation in 1989 and 1992 after losing one game in each season.

Ohio State RB Chip Trayanum plowed through the middle of Notre Dame's defensive line for a 1-yard touchdown on third-and-goal with one second left on the clock to seal the win. During a postgame interview with the NBC broadcast, Day, unprompted, went off on Holtz in a clip that went instantly viral.
