The Kamala Harris campaign was quick to call for a second debate between the two nominees shortly after their Sept. 10 meeting on ABC wrapped.

Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted an invitation from CNN to debate Donald Trump. Trump suggested that he might be open to another matchup, but his campaign referred to a previous comment from the former president saying there would not be another debate.

Harris said in a statement on X that she accepted the offer for the debate and called on her opponent to accept as well.
