They completed a much-anticipated trade for J.T. Miller on Friday in exchange for Filip Chytil. Miller began his career with the Rangers more than a decade ago. The Rangers also received defenseman Erik Brannstrom, as well as prospect Jackson Dorrington, and gave up Victor Mancini.

The Vancouver Canucks traded J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers in an effort to resolve locker-room tensions. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, however, the move has not been well received by many players, and the problems within the Canucks locker room are far from over.

The Vancouver Canucks have traded J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, the team announced Friday. Along with Miller, the Canucks are sending Erik Brännström and Jackson Dorrington to the Rangers for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a top-13 protected 2025 first-round pick.
