Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduces powerful new Pokemon with unique abilities and stats, such as Pawmot, Quaquaval, and Archaludon. Mythical, Legendary, and Paradox Pokemon like Chien-Pao and Walking Wake are significantly stronger with special abilities and high base stats.

Each Pokemon has an ID called OT, which stands for Original Trainer. Before Scarlet/Violet, the OT would also influence your Pokemon's obedience. If you received a Pokemon through trade (ie: with a different OT/ID number) and it leveled beyond the obedience level, then it would stop listening to your commands.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - Journey Together has officially been announced for North America, and will release in March.
