Boost Mobiles continued investment in its network makes it clear that the carrier intends to drop its previous identity as a value-focused MVNO. Boost Mobiles 5G network now covers 70% of the population with its cloud-native O-RAN 5G network. Coverage improves to around 99% of the US population when you include its partner coverage.

Boost Mobile, on the other hand, is totally focused on wireless and has even begun work on its own 5G network using some low-band spectrum. While its network build is in progress, Boost is leaning on AT&Ts vast LTE and 5G network to fill in the gaps and keep customers connected.

Boost Mobile has upgraded from an MVNO to a full carrier, with its 5G network now covering 70% of the U.S. With over $10 billion in investments, Boost's 5G network offers speeds up to 1Gbps. The network is boosted by four-carrier aggregation and 100MHz of spectrum,
