A train going from Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street has been stopped after the emergency alarm was activated at Kelvedon.

A BNSF Metra train was delayed about to 40 minutes today due to a fatal accident with a pedestrian, according to Metra.

According to Metra, the pedestrian was struck by the train near Oak Park at the Berwyn stop just before 10:30 a.m.
