Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced a proposal to require public schools to go phone-free from "bell-to-bell," saying legislation is needed to stem a growing mental health crisis among the state's youth.

The new legislation, the Bell to Bell, No Cell Act, aims to prohibit personal electronic devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, in all public schools.
