Japanese car company Toyota is returning to Formula 1 after a 15-year absence in a partnership with the US-based Haas team.

Haas, an American team that debuted in Formula 1 in 2016 and has been closely linked with Ferrari as a satellite team, stands to benefit hugely from Toyota's engineering and manufacturing experience.
