Update: Eaton Fire spreads to 14,117 acres in Los Angeles County, remains 15% contained
Eaton Fire initially started 6:18 p.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery four days ago, it has burned 14,117 acres, an increase of 125 acres since the last update. A fire crew of 2,832 has been working on site and, as of Saturday noon, they managed to contain 15% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
