Chelsea have knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League and progressed to the semi-finals after a devastating 3-0 win in the quarter-final second leg. The hosts went into the tie trailing 2-0 but three first-half goals in the fourth straight meeting between the teams across three competitions quashed any lingering nerves at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea won 3-2 on aggregate.

For a third year running, Chelsea will face champions Barcelona in the semi-finals. It was Barcelona who hammered Chelsea 4-0 in their first ever final in 2021 and, while they ran them close in the past two seasons, they are opponents against whom they have come up short time after time.

Chelsea staged a big first-half comeback to march into the semifinals of the Women’s Champions League with a 3-0 victory over Manchester City.
