On the January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown, Nick Aldis announced that Damian Priest had joined the roster. The former World Heavyweight Champion then defeated Carmelo Hayes. Later in the show, Priest bumped into Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who welcomed him to the blue brand.

The Stamford’s federation earned a celebratory article on Forbes thanks to the historic passage of Monday Night Raw on Netflix and the duration of the SmackDown episodes was extended to three hours, marking the beginning of a new era in all respects.
