MOUNTAIN VIEW — Firefighters extinguished an apartment kitchen blaze that displaced three adults Tuesday morning, according to a press release from the agency.
Firefighters worked to stop the spread to other apartment units. In total, 24 units were searched and evacuated. Eight units suffered smoke damage.
A man in his 70s has died after a fire at an apartment building in Monaghan Town. It happened at Rowantree Court in Mulach Glas shortly after 20:00 local time on Tuesday. Gardaí (Irish police) said the man was fatally injured during the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
