The vigil for Taylor Walker was held the evening after the mass shooting in the city’s River North neighborhood. Walker, 26, was among four killed.

The attack happened Wednesday night outside a restaurant as people were leaving an album-release party for Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz. Another mass shooting happened at a club that operated from the same address in 2022.

Chicago police said around 11 p.m., a dark SUV drove past the nightclub in the 300 block of West Chicago Avenue, where three people from inside fired shots into a crowd of people standing outside. Rapper Mello Buckzz released a statement on social media,
