Studio Trigger returns to Night City with a standalone sequel to 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' that promises to hurt as much as the original.

“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is in production,” an announcement on X (or Twitter) reveals. “It presents a new standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 – a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge. When the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?”

The video game studio is reuniting with animation studio Trigger on a stand-alone follow-up to the 2022 Netflix entry set in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077.
